Horrifying moment on stage when DJ killed and three others injured after stage collapsed

DJ killed when stage collapsed at Atmosphere Festival, Brazil. The 30 years old Kaleb Freitas was performing on stage when it collapsed during storm. He suffered critically head injuries. They rushed to the hospital, but he died very soon after arrival.

The Local Civil Defense coordinator, Alexandre Camboa said: Weather warnings were issued that day for rain and wind, but the festival decided to go ahead instead of cancellation. Brazilian Atmosphere Festival was packed during the storm in Estio, near the southern city of Porto Alegre. Official investigation has been launched into the circumstances surrounding the horror events.

At least 5000 people were at the festival when the accident happened. The 30-year-old DJ who lived in Porto Alegre whose real name is Kalleby Freitas da Rosa died soon after they brought him to the hospital. Friends and DJ colleagues described him as a “spectacular man” and “his smile represented peace”. He was a talented DJ and musician. May you rest in peace, Kaleb.

According to the local news, officials said that the firefighters has done all the necessary permits to prove the event’s security. The festival organizers had the correct permits.

One of the festival goers said the following report from the venue: “The scale of the tragedy could have been much worse. Metal and other pieces were flying all over the place after the tragedy happened. It was a real madness.”
